Dear customer service representative, Because of recent changes to the online banking system at my current bank I am looking for a new bank. I am interested in a checking account with no minimum balance, online banking, and an ATM/Debit card. Please answer the following questions so I can compare your bank’s offering(s) to those of other banks. 1. Do you have a “no minimum balance” checking account? 2. Are there any (monthly, yearly, etc.) fees? 3. If so, what are the fees, how often are they charged, and how much are they? 4. Does this account have online banking? If so, is it free? 5. Does this account have online bill payment? If so, is it free? 6. Are funds withdrawn from the account when the payment is sent, or when it clears? 7. If the checking account has insufficient funds to cover a bill payment, will online banking reschedule the payment automatically? 8. If your online banking does not automatically reschedule payments, does it send the payment even if there are insufficient funds? If so, will an overdraft be charged? 9. Do online payments show up in the account activity list with the name of the payee, or does one have to view the scanned check to see the payee? 10. Do you allow ATM Withdrawals and/or Debit transactions exceeding the Customer’s available balance? If so, do these incur an overdraft fee? 11. Is there something you would like to tell me about your account offerings that isn’t covered by the questions above? Michael W. Burden 3712 Heron Ave SW Wyoming, MI 49509 mwb@mwburden.com 616-531-6153
