When I lived in Arizona, my neighbor (an ex Tucson Police Officer and former Marine Scout/Sniper) used to set up a combat pistol training course every weekend. Groups of us would go out and practice our self-defense shooting in a variety of scenarios. Here are some videos of that training... I'm using my usual carry gun in all of these shots. A Kimber Pro-Carry M1911 style .45ACP semi-automatic pistol. I use a Foebus combat holster with two spare magazines in a Foebus magazine holster. Each magazine holds 8 rounds, plus one up the spout gives me 25 rounds.

Straight 'Hogans Alley' type course (4MB RealAudio)
This is a standard course with bunkers, bad guys (black) and innocents (white). The goal is to move through the course and engage each bad guy as quickly as possible without hitting any good guys. I've got one jam part way through due to the casing on a reload splitting up the side. This round was 100% hits, no good guys hit.

Speed-Defense through hostages (.7MB RealAudio)
This is a speed course simulating a herd of attackers coming at you through a crowd. The goal is to, again, engage all the bad guys (black) at close range, as quickly as possible, without hitting any innocents (white). Again, all hits on bad guys, no good guys hit.

Speed 'Hogans Alley' type course (2MB RealAudio)
This is another standard course with bunkers, but the goal is to go through it just about as fast as you can while maintaining accuracy, safety, and cover. Another 100% round - The man who set the course up detailed the order and method to engage the targets, including the 'head/chest' pair partway through.

Parking Lot Simulation (5MB RealAudio)
This round simulates being assaulted in a parking lot. Using cars for cover and moving with a mix of stealth and speed the goal as usual is to hit all the bad guys (black) and miss all the good guys (white). This round was also 100% bad guys hit, no good guys hit. You'd never guess why I picked these four, hunh?
